To promote the Cheshire Show and position it as the North West’s premier agricultural event. Part of the brief included generating editorial coverage for the show’s principal sponsors – Roberts’ Bakery and Mitsubishi.
We worked with Cheshire Agricultural Society to create a sustained media campaign in the run up to the show.
The campaign included a mass leaflet drop, weekly press releases, regular contact with journalists and a media launch supported by famous conservationist David Bellamy.
We also arranged a ‘Wall of bread’ photocall at Roberts’ Bakery and a tribe of Zulu Warriors in a Mitsubishi Warrior.
Wide coverage including BBC TV, Granada Reports, The Daily Mirror, Farmers’ Guardian, Cheshire Life, and Horse and Hound, as well as mass regional exposure achieving £320,000 worth of editorial. Successful PR coverage for Roberts’ Bakery and Mitsubishi.
“From day one of working with Profile Communication I was impressed by how well they understood the media and immediately knew how to drive the organisation forward. The company's professionalism and connections allow them to deliver a successful and outstanding media campaign year after year.”
